Acceptance of Risks

I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT:The activities organised by Attraction22 may involve risks, some of which are inherent in the very nature of the activity and the context of the pandemic (such as, but not limited to, COVID-19 infection); As a result of the aforementioned risks and dangers, the participant may suffer serious personal injury, or even death, as well as property damage; Some of these risks and dangers are foreseeable; however, others are not; I nevertheless freely and voluntarily assume all the aforementioned risks and dangers and, consequently, my preparations for participation and my actual participation in Attraction22’s activities shall be entirely at my own risk; I understand that Attraction22, its directors, officers, employees, promoters, independent contractors, sponsors, partners and agents will take the necessary safety measures to ensure the smooth running of the activity, but accept no liability for any property damage or personal injury sustained during my preparations to take part or my actual participation in Attraction22’s activities; I have read this agreement carefully and fully understand it, and I sign it of my own free will;I fully understand that by signing this agreement, I will never be able to take legal action or make a claim against Attraction22; I fully understand that Attraction22 will not allow me to take part in Attraction22’s activities until I have accepted this agreement, that it applies to all Attraction22 activities, present and future, without exception, and that the terms of this agreement have been explained to me by Attraction22 or by one or more of its representatives, at my request; This Agreement is binding on me, my heirs, executors, personal representatives and successors;

I HEREBY RELEASE Attraction22 and its directors, officers, employees, promoters, independent contractors, sponsors, partners and agents from all liability and WAIVE all claims, proceedings, claims and causes of action, of whatever nature, against Attraction22 and its directors, officers, employees and independent contractors, in respect of any physical injury, emotional distress or property damage that I may suffer arising from my preparations to take part in, or my actual participation in, the activities of Attraction22.

I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT: I am physically capable of taking part in Attraction22’s activities and have no pre-existing medical conditions that would restrict my ability to engage in physical and sporting activities.I also acknowledge that I may be injured as a result of another participant and/or their equipment losing control. I further acknowledge that I may contract COVID-19 whilst attending Attraction22 activities. I am responsible for not attending an activity if I (or my child) have flu-like symptoms or symptoms of COVID-19, if I test positive, or if I have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19. I undertake to report to Attraction22 any symptoms or confirmed cases affecting me or those around me. In the event of an accident, I agree that Attraction staff may intervene and contact the ambulance service if necessary. It is my responsibility to hold all necessary civil liability and personal insurance cover in the event of an accident and/or ambulance costs and/or damage to, loss of or theft of personal belongings, or to bear all associated costs personally. I undertake to comply with all regulations issued by Attraction22 or its partners, such as school service centres, the City of Gatineau or the Regional Public Health Department. Compliance with all regulations is mandatory. Furthermore, I undertake to follow all the instructor’s instructions, both for my own safety and out of respect for other participants. Participants in Attraction22 activities who fail to comply with the regulations or instructions will be expelled without any form of refund (registration fees, membership fees or other charges). Attraction22 shall under no circumstances be liable for any loss, theft or damage caused to the personal property of participants, visitors, instructors or activity leaders.I authorise Attraction22 to take and use photographs and videos of me or my child for promotional purposes. I declare that I have read and understood the contents of this disclaimer and the associated regulations, and I accept them in full. I agree to all the terms and conditions.
