🔹 Beach Volleyball 2 vs 2 ⚠️ To register for 2 vs 2 beach volleyball, participants should be able to: ✔️ Perform 20 to 25 consecutive forearm passes (bump sets). ✔️ Perform 20 to 25 consecutive overhead sets. ✔️ Successfully serve 3 out of 5 times overhand across the court. 2 vs 2 Beach Volleyball Session Details: (Teams will be formed once all 6 registrations are completed.) 🕒 Match Schedule: ✔️ 5:15 PM - Match 1: Team 1 vs Team 2 ✔️ 5:45 PM - Match 2: Team 2 vs Team 3 ✔️ 6:15 PM - Match 3: Team 1 vs Team 3 ✔️ Players on standby will referee 📍 Location: At Anik & Martin's, 59 Chimo Street, Aylmer 📅 DATES: • May 22 & 29, 2025 • June 5, 12 & 19, 2025 🏐 Essential Beach Volleyball 2 vs 2 Rules 🏖️ 1️⃣ Blocking counts as a contact • If a player blocks the ball, it counts as the first touch for the team. • The team then has only two more touches to return the ball. 2️⃣ Sets must remain in line with the shoulders and feet • When performing an overhead set, the ball must stay perfectly aligned with the player's shoulders and feet. • A miscontrolled set where the ball spins or moves off-axis is considered a fault. 3️⃣ Attacks must be performed with an open hand and a downward trajectory • In beach volleyball, all attacks must be made with an open hand. • The attack must be struck in a way that gives the ball a downward trajectory. • It is prohibited to tip the ball with open fingers, unlike in indoor volleyball. 4️⃣ Tipping is done with the knuckles • Any tipped balls must be executed using the knuckles rather than open fingers. • This prevents players from simply placing the ball into the opponent’s court, keeping the game more dynamic. 5️⃣ Players can position themselves freely • Unlike indoor volleyball, players do not have a fixed rotation and can position themselves freely on the court. 🎒 EQUIPMENT: • Sportswear • Sunglasses • Water bottle
